I have been attending Mark Rhodes Trainings for a couple of years now. In the early part of 2009 he held a Training Day on Success in Uncertain Times and part of this day included goal setting which was something I had never done before. I had been to many trainings over the years where we were told to do this but I had never bothered until now. I wrote all my goals into a book and looked at it often. One of the things I have always been very frightened of is public speaking and in this book I wrote that I would like to be able to do a presentation at a Phoenix Trader meeting by 2010. ( That’s what I do by the way I sell products for Phoenix Cards).

A few weeks ago I did that presentation to 160 Traders in the network for 40 minutes something that a year ago I would never had agreed to so it just goes to show that you can gain in confidence and achieve what you want to achieve if you put your mind to it. The presentation went very well, and I had lots of well dones afterwards and in fact a week later I was asked to do another presentation at another meeting but this one was only 15 mins so a walk in the park.

The moral of the story, you can do anything if you put your mind to it.
