Do you qualify?

Do you know how to have fun?
Having fun is critical to business success. Yes, business is a serious matter, but I never accept a client unless I know it’s going to be fun for both of us. If you don’t have fun, the chance of you applying the value you get, implementing the ideas, using the tools and strategies, will be dramatically reduced.
You’ll find I’m focused on getting you moving forwards, acting as your focus, guide, catalyst and part of your think-tank. If you’ve got staff, I’ll be aiming for them to be excited and enthusiastic too – which will improve their energy, passion and dedication to coming in each day and helping you to achieve the success you want for you business. This doesn’t happen in an environment that isn’t fun!

What do you have to do?
The way we go to work depends on you to a large extent. You can choose to work face-to-face, by tele-meetings or using online webcam – or a combination of any of these.
You choose what works best for your location and around your existing business commitments and schedule. The idea is that this doesn’t ‘get in the way’; it enhances your business operation.
I’ve found that clients typically fall into two categories:
- You need lots of new ideas and strategies to implement them and really need a kick-start to get things moving fast (a Business Boost)
- You want an ongoing mentor to bounce ideas off and offer guidance and focus (Business Mentor)
The Business Boost is usually a short intense project where we work together towards a specific outcome. There’s no ‘typical’ format, but it generally starts with a half day exploratory session to get focused on what you want and where you are now. You’re probably looking at about one day a month for four months – although this can be in full or half day blocks or a series of one hour meetings.
Ongoing Business Mentoring is open ended and can be an hour, two hours, half a day or a whole day each month, depending on your needs. Again a half day exploratory session is usually a good way to start to set out the playing field. A typical client (if there were such a thing) works with me for between four and eight hours a month.
Many clients use both these approaches concurrently with the Business Mentoring planning the strategy and putting the structure for success into place; whilst a Business Boost tackles a specific project that has a time scale to get the results needed.
